TaxFight is paid a contingency on the property-tax savings we secure for you. We only collect after the appraisal district lowers your assessed value. If your protest doesn’t reduce your taxes, you owe nothing.

Standard contingency rates

Applied to the estimated annual tax savings produced by a successful protest. Tax savings are calculated as (assessed-value reduction) x (your jurisdiction’s combined tax rate). Final amounts depend on the appraisal district’s final order.

Cluster Member Kickback

Activates at 20+ enrolled owners in the same condo building

When a condo building reaches 20 enrolled owners, the building unlocks the Cluster Member Kickback for the current tax cycle. Cluster benefits apply prospectively from the activation date and are confirmed in writing.

  • Every cluster member
    Earns 5% of their own contingency back as a kickback once the protest closes successfully and TaxFight has been paid.
  • Building Ambassador (the cluster organizer)
    Earns 20% on every direct referral they bring in, uplifted from the standard 5% referrer rate. Ambassador status is assigned per building and confirmed in writing.
  • Standard referrer rate
    Stays at 5% for non-ambassador referrals, both inside and outside a cluster.

Payment mechanics

  • No money changes hands until TaxFight collects its contingency.
    We invoice only after the appraisal district issues a final order lowering your assessed value. If the protest does not close successfully, you owe nothing.
  • Ambassador commissions and cluster kickbacks
    Paid within 30 days of TaxFight receiving the customer payment for the underlying protest.
  • No annual fee, no setup fee, no minimum.
    You are billed only the contingency on realized savings. Nothing else.

Annual confirmation, not auto-renewal

TaxFight does not auto-renew or auto-charge. Each year, before the new protest cycle opens, you receive an email asking you to confirm continued representation for the upcoming tax year. You opt in to continue. If you do not respond, we do not file on your behalf and no contingency applies.
